How is Heliwet FA 68/80 produced?
Heliwet FA 68/80 is produced by ethoxylating cetyl and stearyl alcohols with 80 moles of ethylene oxide. This results in a very long, hydrophilic chain that enables exceptional dispersion of oily substances in water.
Function of Ceteareth-80
Ceteareth-80 enhances the clarity of formulations, improves the solubility of fats in water, and functions as a solubilizer and cleansing booster. It is especially effective in transparent gels and sprays.
