How is Heliwet FA 24/4 produced?
During the production of Heliwet FA 24/4, fatty alcohols from natural sources are ethoxylated with 4 moles of ethylene oxide. This reaction is carried out under controlled temperature and pressure conditions, resulting in a homogeneous and stable end product with a balanced hydrophilic-lipophilic profile.
Function of Laureth-4
Laureth-4 provides gentle emulsification and effective wetting. It enhances the incorporation of oil-soluble substances into aqueous systems, stabilizes emulsions, and contributes to a smooth texture in cosmetic formulations. In cleaning applications, it supports grease breakdown and soil removal.
