What is Heliwet FA 13/8?
Heliweth FA 13/8 is a non-ionic fatty alcohol ethoxylate with the INCI name Trideceth-8. The product is based on C13 fatty alcohol with 8 moles of ethylene oxide and has an HLB value of 13. This makes it highly suitable as an emulsifier and solubilizer for oil-in-water emulsions.

How is Heliwet FA 13/8 produced?
During the production process, C13 fatty alcohols are ethoxylated with 8 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol. The increase in the hydrophilic segment makes the product highly water-soluble, resulting in excellent emulsifying and cleansing properties.

Trideceth-8 promotes emulsification, enhances the dispersion of oil-soluble substances, and improves foam stability. It is compatible with a wide range of ingredients and performs well in aqueous systems.
