How is Heliwet FA 13/3 produced?
Heliwet FA 13/3 is produced by ethoxylating synthetic or natural fatty alcohols with a carbon chain length of thirteen. During this process, 3 moles of ethylene oxide are added to the alcohol chain, resulting in a balanced non-ionic compound.
Function of Trideceth-3
Trideceth-3 enhances the miscibility of oil and water and contributes to emulsion stability. Its moderate HLB value also makes it suitable as a co-emulsifier in water-in-oil systems. In addition, it improves wetting and the spreading of active ingredients.
