How is PEG-60 Castor Oil produced?
PEG-60 Castor Oil is produced by ethoxylating natural castor oil with approximately 60 moles of ethylene oxide. This process creates a highly hydrophilic molecule with excellent water solubility. The EL 60–75% variant is then diluted with water to a standardized product containing 75% active material and 25% water, improving handling during manufacturing processes.

EL 60–75% acts as a powerful emulsifier, solvent, and solubilizer.
