How is PEG-200 Castor Oil produced?
EL 200 is produced by ethoxylating castor oil with approximately 200 moles of ethylene oxide. This results in a highly hydrophilic, water-soluble liquid that is ideal for use in products with high water content or low viscosity.
Function of EL 200
EL 200 is used as an emulsifier, dispersant, and solvent in a wide range of industrial and personal care products. It offers excellent stability in diluted systems and assists in dissolving oily substances in water.
