How is Ethylene Distearamide produced?
EBS Wax is produced by reacting ethylenediamine with stearic acid, a long-chain fatty acid. This chemical process results in a stable, solid wax with excellent physico-chemical properties, such as a high melting point and low hygroscopic tendency, making the product suitable for use across a wide range of industries.
Function of EBS Wax
As a slip and lubricating agent, Ethylene Distearamide improves the processability of polymers, rubbers, coatings, and technical materials. In cosmetics, EBS Wax contributes to a smooth and creamy skin feel in creams, balms, and lip products. In addition, it acts as an anti-caking agent and stabilizer, ensuring easy and consistent product performance.
