How is Coco Betaine made?
The production of Betaine KBC starts with the processing of fatty acids from coconut oil. These are converted into cocamidopropylamine and then reacted with sodium monochloroacetate to form the betaine compound. This process results in a gentle and stable surfactant compatible with various formulations.
The effects of Betaine KBC
Betaine KBC has excellent foam-enhancing and mild cleansing properties, making it a common ingredient in shampoos, shower gels, and facial cleansers.
