How is calendula officinalis oil made?

Calendula Officinalis Oil is produced by soaking the dried petals of the Calendula officinalis plant in a carrier oil, such as olive oil or sunflower oil. During this process, the active compounds from the petals are extracted and dissolved in the carrier oil, creating a concentrated and potent oil. After the soaking process, the oil is filtered to remove any impurities. The result is an oil with a light texture and a mild, floral scent.
